This collection presents imaging data from the Human Developmental Biology Resource (HDBR) atlas, documenting gene and protein expression in human embryonic and foetal tissues between 3 and 19 weeks post-conception. Using immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, and RNAscope in situ hybridisation, the study captures where specific genes are switched on and proteins produced as the human body takes shape, from the earliest organ rudiments through the elaboration of recognisable anatomical structures.
